Lesbians in Sport

We will be looking at some of the big names from throughout the years, their legacy and the politics of being an out lesbian in the mainstream sporting arena.

We will also be interviewing local sports womyn about their experiences as well as celebrating the numerous queer and lesbian focused leagues available to participate in around Vancouver.

Romantic Tango and Mundo Flamenco

Throughout the month of October, we are going to be featuring live performances of Tango, Flamenco, Spanish Folklore (related to Tango and Milonga music) including Sangre Morena (Mexico), Pancho y Sal (Argentina), Oliver Santamaria (Nicaragua), Hermanos Galdamez (Chile), Pirouz de Casio (Persian Flamenco).

Also featuring interviews with ARTE Y PUREZA Flamenco Company, World Caravan Music and more.
